I have the honour to state that we communicated

qopy of the papers covered to us by your letter

No.960/12-13 of the 14th of January on the subject

of the Longkoktsui Breakwater, Hong Kong, to levars

Coode,Latthews, Fitzmaurice and Wilson, and I enclose

a copy of their reply. The Secretary of State

will doubtless cause the views expressed by the

Consulting Engineers to be communicated to the

Colonial Government.
